"Damansara" covers a wide area, from Damansara Heights in Kuala Lumpur to Damansara Utama, Damansara Jaya, Ara Damansara, Mutiara Damansara and Kota Damansara on the Petaling Jaya side. What many of these neighbourhoods share is a large and growing number of condominiums and serviced residences. This page is about designing those homes well.
Designing a condo is mostly about making a fixed shell work harder. You usually can't move the wet areas, change the facade or touch structural walls, and the building has its own rules. Good condo design therefore focuses on things you can control:
Every condo in Damansara has its own management (the JMB or MC) and its own renovation rules. Typically you will need to submit a renovation application, pay a deposit, keep to set working hours and days, use the service lift, and arrange debris disposal in a particular way. Some buildings restrict noisy works such as hacking to limited hours. These rules affect the schedule and cost, so we plan around them from the start and help you prepare the application.
Because condo projects usually involve less structural work than landed homes, they are often quicker, but carpentry production time and building restrictions still shape the timeline. We confirm a schedule with your quotation.
Two of our published projects are in Damansara Heights: Aira Residence, a modern-classic penthouse with book-matched marble and brass detailing, and Crown Residences, Pavilion Damansara Heights, with warm woods, a sculptural fireplace feature and layered lighting. For a more compact condo, see Core Residence, TRX.
Qanvast's published nationwide estimate for a complete condominium renovation is from RM80,000 to RM150,000 (Qanvast, “How Much Does It Cost To Renovate In Malaysia?”, December 2025). This is a third-party figure, not our price. Your project may land well outside it depending on size, carpentry, materials and the unit's condition. Our renovation cost guide covers the full set of published ranges and the factors behind them.
Tell us early. An owner-occupied home in Damansara Heights might call for premium finishes and bespoke joinery, while a unit for tenants near Ara Damansara or Kota Damansara benefits from hard-wearing materials, neutral styling and storage that tenants will actually use. The same square footage can lead to very different designs and budgets.
We work on condos across Damansara Heights, Damansara Utama, Damansara Jaya, Ara Damansara, Mutiara Damansara, Kota Damansara and nearby areas. Our studio is close by, in Bandar Utama.
